What theme through yonder blog doth break? Ah, it's Grand Rounds...
Rural Doctoring: Grand Rounds, Volume 4, #49: The Seven Ages of Man
Who said Shakespeare and medicine don't mix? Dr. Chan at Rural Doctoring definitely makes it work. And since my Appalachian hillbillyonics is rooted in Olde English much like what Shakespeare and Chaucer wrote, I actually understand it.
I admit I read all of Shakespeare's works at the age of 12 (and many times more since then) because they fascinated me. That was just after my fantasy/fairy tale stage and just prior to my sci fi stage. Somewhere in the middle of that I had an ancient myth stage.
(I still don't understand why my mother took away Valley of the Dolls and Asimov's Fantastic Voyage but let me read Shakespeare at that age. Ok, ok, I do understand the former, but not the latter. )
So, go take a gander at Dr. Chan's blog where she melds her artistic license with her medical license. It's a refreshing mix in many ways.
