I hope we have more respect for each other than this. I certainly do for my dog's doctor.
ReplyDeleteRamona, I think my friend saw it as a sad commentary about healthcare more than anything. Paperwork is the bane of so many doctors. Practicing medicine is so much more than really practicing medicine.
ReplyDeleteROTFLOL! "I do not understand the question"! Hmmm! Where to start? What did I get from this? Most medical docs think they are "it". They have a high self esteem. They often rattle on and on needlesly, and they are not listening to YOU! The bottom line, we should all go see vets! And that's the honest to goodness truth! At least if you have Cushing's, and I'm betting most anything else. That's not to say there are NO good medical docs. There ARE, but they are so few and far between! SAD!
ReplyDeleteI almost fell off my chair laughing when I saw this, I had pretty much the same conversation with a MD. He just could not fathom the idea that I knew anything about medical care. When I asked him if he realized that humans are mammals, he didnt know what to say. He actually did say, that he was the "real doctor". HA!
